This blog was created to collect and provide information concerning the Rally Against Pain in Washington, D.C. on 10/22/16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dynamite speakers periodically throughout the day will answer questions and offer suggestions for chronic pain patients. Meet and greet your fellow chronic pain sufferers and exchange ideas and information with chronic pain patients across the United States.
Our goal is to change the current trend in discrimination against the chronic pain patients caused by the misconception that prescription opioids, when used as prescribed and in response to chronic pain, is contributing to the Nation’s “War on Heroin”.
There are two separate segments of society and on is getting no attention. Chronic pain patients are being abandoned by their physicians, physicians are cutting or decreasing pain medication which formerly allowed a disabled or chronically ill patient to maintain quality of life, to the extent possible, and to help those who have already been abandoned to secure adequate medical care. We also advocate better medical care and treatment to our U.S. Veterans who are now experiencing exceptionally low quality of care at certain VA facilities and to get them the help that they so desperately need for PTSD.
